This page covers the editor workflow from first draft to published page, and the options in the Page Settings dialog.
Drafts and Publishing
Changes in the editor are saved as a draft in page.draft.json. Visitors keep seeing the published version in page.json until the draft is published.
- Ctrl+S: Saves the draft.
- Preview: Opens the page with the draft content. Preview is only available to logged-in users and bypasses the cache.
- Publish: Replaces the published page with the draft. If page history is enabled, a version is stored.
- Delete Draft: Discards the draft, the published version stays untouched.
Double-click the title in the editor to rename the page inline.

Version History
If Enable Page History is active under Global Settings > General > Page History, every publish stores the previous version in the _history folder of the page. Between 5 and 50 versions are kept per page.
- Compare: Shows a visual diff between a stored version and the live page. Added and deleted content is highlighted.
- Restore: Loads a stored version into the draft. It is not live until you publish it.
Edit Locks
While a user has a page open in the editor, it is locked for others. A second user sees the name of the editor and the time the lock expires. Locks expire after 20 minutes of inactivity.
